Samsung Galaxy S8 might go all-in on curves

Samsung's found a lot of success with curved screens, so much so that the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge outsold the standard Samsung Galaxy S7, and that the only version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 also had a curved screen, so it's not surprising to hear that Samsung might be ditching flat screens altogether, at least on its flagships.

According to 'industry sources' speaking to the Korea Herald, Samsung is considering only launching a curved version of the Samsung Galaxy S8, but apparently the phone would still come in two sizes, as the company has supposedly already started securing curved display panels in both 5.1-inch and 5.5-inch sizes.

The final decision of whether to ditch the flat screen model altogether could apparently simply come down to whether Samsung can source enough curved screens in time, which suggests that even if it can't, curves are very much the future for the company.
